The JazzNet project is headed by Roldan Pozo, who built and maintains the system. The following groups have added significantly to the project by contributing their time and expertise in the following areas:

JazzNet configuration

• Original Myrinet networking hardware provided by the Scalable Parallel Systems and Applications Group at NIST.
• Martin Swany, from the Univeristy of Tennessee, helped test Myrinet PCI hardware and configured Linux with new drivers.
• Wayne Solomon from the Scalable Computing Testbed Project reconfigured Linux kernel for symmetric-multiprocessing (SMP) support on mutliple processor JazzNet nodes.

JazzNet applications

• Bruce Murray, guest researcher with the Mathematical Modeling Group, contributed the phase-modeling application, together with Cray C90 timing information.
• Karin Remington. contributed the 3D Helmholtz application, and helped with timing measurements.
• Bill Mitchell contributed the parallel adaptive grid application and timing measurements.
• Tony Kearsley contributed the optimal design shape for viscous flow application and timing measurements.
• Tim Burns contributed the dynamics of material flow in high-speed machining application and timing measurements.
