Using the Keyboard with MMDISP
- Overview The keyboard can be used to interact with
mmDisp both by allowing mouseless access to the menu and
control bar and by providing keyboard shortcuts for common commands.
The key active region is the portion of mmDisp
currently accepting keyboard input. The default key active region is the
display window. Pressing the tab key will cycle
the key active region through the
control bar with stops in order at axis,
subsample, zoom and display. Pressing shift-tab cycles the
key active region the
opposite direction. The region of the control bar that is the key active
region is outlined in black. If no region is black the key active region
is the display window.
Perhaps the most useful key command is the ESC key. The ESC key will
undo the last command given to mmDisp and works regardless of the
key active region. The ALT key allows keyboard access to
the menu commands.
