This page contains older versions of OOMMF software. Please use a current release, if possible.
Important note: If you are using one of the pre-compiled binary releases, then the version of Tcl/Tk on your system must match the Tcl/Tk version against which the binaries were built. For example, if you have Tcl/Tk 8.3.1 installed, then you should download the build for Tcl/Tk 8.3.x.

Bug fixes, enhancements to
numeric precision. Changed Zeeman energy zero-offset and mmProbEd
built-in material parameter values. Documentation now includes an

Incorporated all enhancements
from 1.0 beta 2, including support for Tcl/Tk up to 8.2 and mmArchive
DataTable format support. Also introduced solver log files and
-restart command line option. NOTE 1 (15-Sep-1999): Due to a bug,
this release will not work if installed under a directory with an
embedded space, e.g., "C:\Program Files\oommf". NOTE 2 (20-Sep-1999):
Tcl 7.x compatibility is broken. Either upgrade your Tcl installation
to 8.x (preferred), or email us for a patch.

constant mag "average H" demag kernel introduced to solver.
Divergence and color-wheel display options added to mmDisp. New

Windows' *.bmp support added. Bootstrap application "oommf.tcl"
improved and moved to OOMMF root directory.

OOMMF experiences intermittent socket problems with Tcl/Tk 8.0.3 under
Windows, so we recommend using
Tcl/Tk 8.0p2 (available from the
SourceForge archive) with this
release of OOMMF on Windows.

Supports Tcl/Tk 8.0.3 (3-Sep-1998) under Unix. OOMMF experiences
intermittent socket problems with this release of Tcl/Tk under
Windows, so we recommend using
Tcl/Tk 8.0p2 (available from the SourceForge archive) with this
release of OOMMF.
