AnthroGloss Human Body Landmark Reference (X3DOM with jQuery version) V4

This is an X3DOM version of the AnthroGloss (http://ovrt.nist.gov/projects/vrml/h-anim/landmarkInfo.html), anthropometry education VRML model created originally around the year 2000. The VRML file was converted to X3DOM via Fraunhofer's online X3D converter available at: http://doc.instantreality.org/tools/x3d_encoding_converter/. The conversion resulted in an HTML5 file with the X3D and links to the X3DOM renderer embedded. Finally the jQuery widgets for the user interface were embedded into the HTML file resulting in this demo. To view this you need a "modern" browser that supports WebGL, more info on browser support is available.

For those viewpoint buttons with a numeric prefix, the prefix corresponds to the H-ANIM1.1 Appendix C: Feature Points for the Human Body, available at: http://h-anim.org/Specifications/H-Anim1.1/appendices.html#appendixc, which were derived from the landmarks defined via the CAESAR project, http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/stamp/stamp.jsp?arnumber=00805368.

Usage tips:

• Select a viewpoint button to change the point of view.
• Move the slider bar to quickly go through viewpoints.
• The buttons fade out after being clicked once to indicate that it has been clicked.
• Select the spheres on the body to find out which landmark it is, which also causes it to color cycle.
• The sphere buttons accordion contain toggle buttons to scale up (or down) the spheres individually.
• In the misc. buttons accordion there are buttons to let you make all of the sphere scale up in size or back down.
