Remington Elected to SIGNUM Board

Karin Remington of ITL's Mathematical and Computational Sciences Division
has been elected to a four-year term on the Board of Directors of SIGNUM,
the Association for Computing (ACM) Special Interest Group on Numerical
Mathematics (SIGNUM). SIGNUM, one of 37 special interest groups within
ACM, represents professionals who design, analyze, produce, or use algorithms
and software for numerical computation. SIGNUM co-sponsors conferences
on topics at the interface between computer science and mathematics and
publishes a quarterly newsletter.
