BCSSTRUC3: BCS Structural Engineering Matrices (eigenvalue problems)
Set BCSSTRUC3
Source:
John Lewis, Boeing Computer Services, Seattle, WA
Discipline:
Dynamic analyses in structural engineering
Accession:
Summer 1984 to spring 1985
These generalized symmetric eigenproblems were extracted from various structural engineering packages such as GT-STRUDL, MCS/NASTRAN, and BCS ATLAS. They represent interesting problems encountered after the first set of structural engineering matrices were collected. Problems number 19, 20, and 22 have very poorly conditioned stiffness matrices. Problem 21 is a standard textbook problem with multiple eigenvalues.
