- AutoMap is a tool designed to simplify the creation of MPI data-types.
- It works as a source-to-source compiler reading directly from the user typea definitions
- In its actual release, it only handles C data-types
- It has been developed using the Yacc++ tool (commercial)

- Latest sources for AutoMap (require Yacc++ v2.4 to compile)
- Linux version (compiled for glibc2 using GCC 2.95.2)
- Sun Solaris version (compiled on a Sun Solaris running SunOS 5.6 using GCC 2.95.2)
- SGI Irix version (compiled on a SGI R10000 running IRIX 6.5 using MIPSpro Compilers v7.3.1.1m with "-o32 -mips1 -Olimit 2000" compilation flags)
- IBM AIX version (compiled on an IBM AIX 4.2 system using GCC 2.95.2)
